Media Release: Ministry of Labour & Social Security says Christmas day will be celebrated on Boxing Day - Dec 26.

 In a media release posted on the MLSS Twitter account, the Ministry of Labour has announced that this year Christmas day will be celebrated on December 26, the day traditionally known as Boxing Day in Jamaica. Here's an electronic copy of the release below:

Consequently, the Boxing Day holiday will be observed on Tuesday, December 27. 

As for New Year's Day, that holiday will be observed on Monday, January 2, 2023 since News Year's Day falls on the Sunday.
