Some of the graduating Police Constables during the JCF's Passing Out Parade on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022.
Yes Iyah! Di JCF a push out new pollees officas fi tek on di streets dis Chrismus!
Jamaica's street should feel safer this Christmas as recently the Jamaica Constabulary Force held a graduation ceremony formally called a "Passing Out Parade", for 323 young and bright minds who stepped forward to faithfully serve and protect the citizens of our country. The new Police Constables of batches 139, 141 & 142, are equipped with new and improved skills, and competencies to help battle and subdue the crime monster.
In his keynote address to the graduates, the Minister of National Security, Hon. Horace Chang warned them that they would be embarking on a very difficult task, but one that must be done to save Jamaica.
He said:
"There are still naysayers out there who will see the police in a negative light. The argument of negativity and neglect that has affected the police force for years, which is far from the truth, will continue."
He however commended the new graduates for stepping forward to serve in these difficult times. They will be dispatched to various police divisions across the island.
We hope for the best for these new officers and wish that their contribution to the JCF will positively impact our nation.
